Fractal Memory — Pullover Hoodie

In a fractal, the part resembles the whole. Magnify a branch and a smaller tree appears; look at a fern and one leaflet repeats the shape of the plant. Fractal Memory applies the same idea to an image that cannot decide whether it is a figure, an ornament or a landscape.

Faces and geometric fragments referencing Indigenous cultures of North America break apart, mirror and return at a smaller scale. One glance catches a figure; the next sees only a grid of colour. Memory works in a similar way. It does not return an event intact, but reconstructs it from details that still carry the shape of the larger story.

The precise cultural source of the individual visual elements is not documented, so the motif is not presented as a traditional artwork or as a representation of one nation. It is a contemporary psychedelic collage about repetition and change. Across a moving body, it is never visible all at once; every gesture selects another fragment.

Care

Machine wash cold with similar colours. Do not bleach or dry-clean. Line dry. If ironing is needed, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 110 °C without steam.

Minor differences in colour and exact print placement may occur between the screen mockup and the finished product.
