Spore Shibori — Pullover Hoodie

Some images are built by adding. This one begins with what things leave behind. A spore print is the dusty trace of a mushroom cap; shibori records the places dye could not reach. One picture is made by falling, the other by resistance.

Across the hoodie, those two principles overlap until they are difficult to separate. Blue-black bands recall folded and bound cloth, but gills and psilocybe caps repeat inside them, as if a mycology atlas had passed through a dark dye bath. The hood lifts the motif around the head, turning it into an environment rather than a flat surface.

Spore Shibori is digitally printed, not traditionally dyed shibori. Its story rests on the kinship between two processes: each catches a brief event and leaves a lasting map. Texture from across the room. Up close, evidence that mushrooms were making their own abstraction long before us.

Care

Machine wash cold with similar colours. Do not bleach or dry-clean. Line dry. If ironing is needed, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 110 °C without steam.

Minor differences in colour and exact print placement may occur between the screen mockup and the finished product.
