Yarn Vision — Crop Top

Early nierika were small, circular objects organised around a centre. Yarn painting later expanded that idea across a board, where coloured strands could carry myth, personal vision and paths between symbols. Each section was built slowly, with yarn pressed by hand into wax.

Yarn Vision translates a similar density into a completely different tempo. Digital mirroring multiplies, turns and returns the image until it becomes difficult to tell the original fragment from its echo. The cropped silhouette physically interrupts the pattern. It stops at the waist, yet appears to continue beyond the garment, as if the top revealed only one section of a larger field.

This is a contemporary psychedelic interpretation inspired by Wixárika art, not a traditional Wixárika artwork. We name the source deliberately. “Tribal pattern” would reduce a living, specific artistic tradition to anonymous decoration; this image is allowed both an origin and a new direction.

Care

Machine wash cold with similar colours. Do not bleach or dry-clean. Line dry. If ironing is needed, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 110 °C without steam.

Minor differences in colour and exact print placement may occur between the screen mockup and the finished product.
